Tyler was silly today. With all of these winter weather warnings we have been stuck at home all week. Tomorrow we will go somewhere even if it is only to moms.

This was the face Will was making at Tyler while he was acting crazy. Yes, there are always toys in our floor. Always. Sometimes I wish I cared more about it but most of the time I am just happy to have healthy kids that love to use their imagination and play with toys. We do everything in the living room, dining room, kitchen area. I have never been interested in sending them to play in another room or anything. I like having them underfoot :)

I'd that AngryBird tattoo ever gonna come off?

Because we were going a bit stir crazy Tyler got some tv time today. He loves his shows.

While I was sorting laundry Will opened the wipes and crawled over to this chair with one hanging out of his mouth like a puppy. Then he pulled up on it and started cleaning.

I made taco soup tonight and Will pigged out on it. I hope he stays a good eater. Tyler ate everything at this age too so I am trying not to get too comfortable. With all of this winter storm stuff we have had we have been stocking up on lots of junk food that we usually never buy. Bill came home with 48 sodas, nutty bars, poptarts, microwave popcorn and Doritos. Oh, and a happy meal. Tyler's eating is gonna require some heavy rehab. Mine too.

Finally, after two days of school closures for misting rain we got snow. Tyler and Bill went out and caught snowflakes and ate them. Tyler was thrilled to see snow and begged to go play in it. So we let him.

And he came right back telling us he was cold and wet and wanted to come in.

Bill took his pants off and he did a dance. See the toys everywhere? One day I will miss them.

And then suddenly there was inches of the stuff. Somewhere around four inches actually.

So we made snow cream! Tyler measured and poured the sugar and stirred it all up. It was so sweet and fun. He started talking about the different states of water and decided to leave a little bowl of snow cream out to turn into a liquid and we put the rest in the freezer. Tomorrow we will compare the snow cream we left out and the snow cream we froze with the snow on the ground.

This is his bowl he scooped out to observe in the morning.

And thi I the rug in front if the sink that I dumped half if the snow cream onto. I called for Bill and he came in and cleaned it up. He can tell I am a little batty without leaving the house every other day or so.

Sweetest thing ever. We all sleep in our bed half the time. Bill and the boys went to bed after the snow cream incident so I could have a few minutes alone. Will started to wake up so I ran in the bedroom and Tyler had rolled over and was holding Will rubbing his back. Like I said, sweetest thing ever.
I am sooooo hoping an praying we still have snow on the ground and electricity tomorrow morning. And that the roads are clear tomorrow afternoon- because I gotta go somewhere :)
