For some reason, Tyler has is still not sleeping through the night. He rarely ever sleeps for more than 3 hours at a time, and after that initial 3 hour stretch he is usually up every hour. Most nights, I can nurse him back to sleep pretty easily when he wakes up. However, last night he would not go back to sleep. I snapped a picture about every 30 minutes from about 1:30 to 3:30 this morning. At 3:30, I went into our bedroom and begged Bill to get up and play with him for a little bit so I could at least get 30 minutes of sleep. Bill said they came in the living room and sang “Hole in the Bottom of the Sea” a few times. Then, Tyler gave him an exhausted smile and laid his head on his shoulder and went to sleep. That stinker!
1:30 a.m. Not liking the light on the camera
2:00 a.m. Smiling for Mommy
2:30 a.m. I had real hopes for sleep at this point because he stared off at nothing grinning for about 5 minutes.
3:00 a.m. Playing in his “machine”
3:30 a.m. Pleading for me to get him out of there, which I did and promptly took him to his Daddy.
